Tafee Bowle is an on-demand convection vaporizer that is built into a cup.
It uses small ceramic capsules referred to as “pots”
The V2 version came out in 2025, four years after the first version. It was demonstrated live onstream by Troy & Jerry in July 2024 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTwvqLYWLQ0 ) and Black Friday 2024 orders received a free metal Potter.
The V2 has significantly better battery life and 5 temp settings instead of 4.
I still own and use an original Tafée Bowle that I got in 2019.
I had a Tafée Bowle 2 but gave it to a local patient due to their need, the form factor and because I have an abundance of tools.
I still use the OG Bowle for about 1-2 sessions a day, and it works like day 1… except the battery life has been cut to 2 sessions.
I did find that I can use it while charging, like a pass-thru.
I don’t do that though, I do my 2 sessions, and plug it in. I imagine one day I will have to use it purely as a plug-in, as Bruno already told me that the battery cannot be replaced.
I do love it though! This brief sesh was about a year ago: OG Tafée Bowle 2025
Love my Bowle 2. I got a Tempest 2 recently and the Bowle came out of rotation for a couple of months. Just went back to it and realized what I love so much about it. The instant heat up, the ceramic pot design, it is just great.
I’ve been using my TB2 for two weeks now & haven’t touched any of my others..I usually need a break within a day or so & go to another vape but not with the TB2..it’s delivers a great session every time..very smooth & powerful..I don’t get sick of it either or get a dry throat or anything like that..& don’t sleep on that (acrylic) grinder they include with it..it works great & provides the perfect grind..it can be a difference maker for sure..
Love the Tafee Bowle 2..& ya it was pricey but I look back on the year that I’ve had it & it was worth it for sure..
I don’t use mine all that often, but for those days my lungs or throat are feeling it, the TB2 pays for itself. I am glad I sprung for the metal grinder though, but really most of the time I just load a pot from the BCG as I go. I know the grinder is here someplace, but I’d need to find it.
I hear ya Charles about the grinder, I have another I use also but for the most part I grind by hand..but these grinders made for the Bowle are fantastic & I bet the metal one is a step above the plastic..anyway, it’s a great Vape that’s easy on the throat & lungs..
I have, on multiple occasions, “re-fallen in love” with this device. I don’t do the cup thingie, but the roast is so fast and pure that it takes dosing to the next level.
Sitting here with my Bowle 2 with the original tall stem watching a ball game. People can say what they will, this is a damn easy & comfortable device to use.
I feel like the only people who don’t like the Bowle 2, are the ones who haven’t tried one. Easy for folks to dis on the shape when they have no idea what they are missing out on.
My guess is you’re an analog vaporer. When I want huge clouds (before bedtime) I break out my Dani Fusion. When I want flavor, on-demand convenience, and nice clouds I choose my Tafee.
I’ve heard the TM2 gives huge clouds but the reviews were too mixed for my liking.
@BigDavetokeit - I know what you’re talking about. It’s too smooth to be satisfying for me. It’s great when I burned out my throat and /or lungs on the other vapes, I can hit the TB2 all night with no problem. To me, it’s worth it for that alone.
I like analog vapes Simrell Ti, Hydro, Tempest 2 and Tornado definitely own a few and use battery portables often. Frolic,Tinymight2,Venty,FW11,Convex2,Veazy,Solo3 and of course the Tafee Bowle2 so thats what I compare it too. Not about the clouds its vapor profile just does doesn’t do it for me. Not affects definitely does that job for me. I know everyone says its one of the best tasting battery portables vapes but I always get a funny taste Im just not fond of.
I posted earlier that even though my Tafeé Bowle still works great the charge is holding less power. I also said that it worked like a passthrough so that I could use it plugged in.
My time with this marvelous vape may be coming to an end, as the charger now must be “posed” and propped carefully to get it to charge. This means it can no longer easily be used plugged in.
Using the “prop & pose” method I can still charge it, but can only get one pot vaped now.
That would require a proprietary Tafeé charging cord to test that theory. I’ll see if I can borrow one from one of the local patients that I delivered a Bowle to.
