As a Canadian company I find their pricing in Canada a little over the top. When compared to a company like Arizer who prices for their market equally. Way over priced in Canada.
@polecat - Over priced depends on what you are looking for. I only have the XQ2 and Solo 3 from Arizer, but those are not comparable to the vapor from the TB2. Iām waiting to hear about the Flaske before writing a check though.
Iām going to go out on a limb and say that after this first drop or two, Tafee will offer both a standard and a deluxe package just like it does the Bowle 2. The Bowle 2 Silver Label collection is actually in line with the current pricing for the Flaske. It includes the aluminum Potter. The Flaske package includes both the aluminum grinder and a leather case.
I could see the Flaske being offered at $467 but would not include the metal grinder or leather case.
Either way, it is an expensive device. Whether itās worth it is up to each person. For me, itās definitely worth it because Iāve tasted the vapor that the Bowle 2 produces.
I was wondering if the FG controversy was going to hurt the release. Iām guessing someone will open one up within a week considering the issues and weāll soon know.
That said, I think the TB fans are mostly satisfied with Tafeeās explanation, and will trust the manufacturer.
Got an email from Tafee with some instructions on setup etc but the screenshot i took is massively long. Iām sharing here because thereās no mention or request not to share. Also looks like people who preordered get a $50 credit available now on the Tafee store upon registering your new Flaske serial number. Might get the Klass to have a new use for the TB2 when this takes over lol.
Edit i just noticed that itās a lifetime warranty on the Flaske? Wasnāt it only a couple years or something for the TB2? That is nice to only have to worry about shipping.
Right, I received the same, lengthy email as well and notification of $50 credit that is issued to your account upon entering the serial # once you recd. the Flaske.
My only concern are all the instructions for initial usage? Seems kind of convoluted and hardly any mention of battery usage/maintenance etc. seems a lot of discussion about the ācork/tamper/pickā, which seems kinda odd.
They also suggest that although they may ship on or about 05/26/26, there could be a delay of approx., up to two weeks for ālogisticā reasons. I āreadā that as customs along with the goofs @ USPS could delay our āpreciousā from arriving?

Phase 1: Unlocking & Operating Flaske
Please review these steps before your device arrives.
Electronic Awakening (Shipping Lockout):
Your Flaske ships in an electronic lockout state for transit safety.
To unlock the system, simply connect the device to an appropriate power source using the supplied charging cable.
Flaske features a physical locking mechanism via the multi-function Cork and Stir Tool assembly.
Separate the Stem (Locking or Unlocking)
Flaske ships physically locked. You must completely remove the Cork and Stir Tool assembly from the top of the stem before attempting to separate the stem from the Flaske power base unit.
When the Cork and Stir tool assembly are inserted, they lock the top of the stem, preventing the Stem from being separated from the Flaske power base unit without first unlocking the Cork and Stir tool assembly.
Separating the Stir tool component from the cork removes this restriction and the stem can be connected or disconnected from Flaske while the Cork alone is seated at the top of the Flaske. The flat stainless steel tool can be magnetically stored vertically inside the flap of the leather case.
If the Cork assembly with its extended stir stool is first inserted while the stem is detached, the stem will not seat fully into the Flaske power base unit. The stem must first be fully connected to the Flaske power base unit before the Cork and Stir tool assembly can be cleanly inserted.
Access Delay:
When fully inserted, the Cork and Stir Tool act as a discreet physical locking system to delay unauthorized access by the uninitiated. You may opt to disable this feature by simply storing the Stir Tool separately away from the cork to prevent locking Flaske when not in use.
Stir Tool Adjustment:
The Cork Metal Stir Tool component is height-adjustable within the Cork to utilize to dislodge or stir organic material within your Ceramic Pots.
Critical Note:
The Stir Tool must be fully pushed back into the Cork, to fit properly within the storage tray and the power base unit storage compartment. If the stir tool isnāt fully compressed into the Cork, it will not fit securely in the storage cavity of Flaske.
Stem Alignment & Seating:
Ensure your session storage tray (which holds your extra Ceramic Pots and mouthpiece) is seated perfectly flush within its cavity. If it is misaligned, it will obstruct the stem connection.
After inserting the stem aligned, push past the audible trigger lock, then purposefully and firmly compress the stem at its midpoint against the power base unit to form a complete, airtight connection.
Phase 2: Loading & Control
1. Preparing Your Ceramic Pots
Flaske internalizes a storage compartment holding two Ceramic Pots for seamless use away from home.
The 75% Rule:
Use your included Potter accessory to prepare your material. For optimal thermal extraction and unrestricted airflow, fill each Ceramic Pot to approximately 75% capacity. Shred 0.15 to 0.75 grams of organic material in Potter.
The Potter is specifically calibrated to shred herbs to an ideal micro-size, ensuring extended extraction efficiency while minimizing any clogging of the ceramic pot screen components.
2. Three Intuitive Methods of Operation
Flaske utilizes the same proven heating principles as the Bowle Series II, offering three distinct control styles to match your session rhythm:
Click and Hold
Click and hold the large activation button. Begin your inhalation immediately when you feel the haptic feedback and the indicator turns green. Release the button 1 to 2 seconds before finishing your inhalation to clear the chambered aerosol.
Click and Release:
Click and release the large button once. Inhale when you feel the haptic feedback and the indicator turns green. The breath sensor automatically disengages the moment your inhalation ends.
Click to Start, Click to Stop (āThe Choo Choo Charlieā):
Click the large button once to initiate the heating cycle. Inhale immediately when you feel the haptic feedback and the LED turns green. Manually click the button a second time 1 to 2 seconds before the end of your inhalation to clear the chambered aerosol and disengage the heater.
Extraction Tip:
Flaske allows for highly flexible dynamic operation. You can begin at a higher power level for immediate, dense aerosol density and subsequently retreat to a lower power level for terpene rich aerosol. Conversely, you can invert the experienceāstarting low to delicately extract flavor-rich terpenes and stepping the power upward to finish the ceramic pot with denser aerosol.
3. Haptic Feedback for accessibility
Flaske introduces an advanced haptic feedback designed for complete non-visual operation, removing full reliance on LED cues:
Power Level Feedback
Press and hold the small power level selection button; the unit will pulse to indicate its current power setting.
Battery Status Feedback:
Simultaneously click and release both the small power level select button and the large activation button with a quick click to feel the remaining battery capacity via distinct haptic pulses. Remember to wait a few minutes after activation to receive the accurate battery level.
Phase 3: Ecosystem, Maintenance & Lifetime Support
Mouthpiece Dynamics:
Your package includes two distinct styles:
The Ceramic mouthpiece offers streamlined, low-profile utility, allowing it to store entirely within the device storage tray during transport.

The Break-In Period:
