Looking forward to grabbing a black SS Slim with the rubies.

The notion of original ideas is similar to artists and their work: Van Gogh, Picasso, all the greats “borrowed” or were “inspired” by others. Van Gogh was “inspired” by the pointillism of Seurat. Picasso’s simple line drawings/naive works look much like the ancient cave paintings in France, etc.
Of course, the only positive for creators is to inform others that they created the original idea/product/art of today. Look at what Ai is doing now. Nothing is safe. I applaud all the creators and support them wholeheartedly! Breathe…Inhale…Breathe…Love and Peace to all of us.

What’s the benefit of something like the Slim compared to the original? Just the price?

For me, the slim has a new smaller bowl setting I’ll never use, and now comes in SS

When is the Slim due to be released? I am shocked how fast I fell for my Tempest 2 so the slim will be a must.

Seems to be it is a more budget friendly option. If you are looking at the Tempest 2 and want a hotter experience that is what is my expectation. If you are looking for a better experience in the sense of better cooling or a bigger bowl I don’t think that is really the case here.

And to be clear with my comments earlier, I was not bashing Mad about a design that looks like another product or an iteration of a previous product (revolves kinda had the look, too). It was more disappointment that the new product is likely aimed at a different demographic or target user. It seems to take the MH designs and make them available in a more affordable offering.

My disappointment was solely down to the previous 100% track record on making things notably better with new releases.

The fact there is a release like this instead of something bigger and better tells me MH is hitting a maturity milestone.

Hey! I heard you’ve been testing the T2S for a while. If you’re allowed to talk about it, I’d really appreciate your opinion.

How have you been getting on with it so far? And compared directly with the regular Tempest 2, do you actually find the stainless steel T2S noticeably stronger or better for full-bowl extractions/OHE, or is the difference pretty small?

I’m especially curious about heat retention, vapour density and overall punch compared with the normal T2. Thanks!

In my 20’s I enjoyed the company of identical twins. Their personalities were similar but each had their own unique personality.

in my 50’s I own ALOT of stick vapes (actually multiples of each lol) that are basically the same…similar but each has its own unique personality.

This new MadHeaters Slim device has caught a lot of criticism for being a “Simrell knock off” device. It’s stem shape could be just as well inspired by the Vestratto Tornado Full rig.

Edit: Correcting these dates based on extensive Instagram research. The Vestratto Tornado Full Rig device with XL tapered mouthpiece was announced/revealed in November 2024 prior to Simrell’s February 2025 announcement.

Hard to say a shape is owned by any manufacturer. The engine of any stick vape is the head not the stem. Thats where the magic happens and why I love the Tempest 2 and will add a Slim to my lineup. I mean come on, Fender Guitars is getting the shit kicked out of them for going after direct copy manufacturers with their cease and desists going out. Everyone out there is pissed as hell about them trying to protect a signature design and configuration. I admit it’s a terrible PR move but understandable when only a name on a headstock differentiates the OG from a copy. To me this Slim will be its own creature with a familiar shape that’s all.
