For me, it happened earlier in the week. I had a big presentation over zoom so took a couple hits from the pinch hitter bowl of the screwball just before to keep things chill. On the last hit I combusted. I ended up getting this big combustion hit out of nowhere and then I had to go right into this presentation. I was wayyy more stoned than I meant to be, but the presentation was a great success and there were no problems!
Tell me about a bad combustion event that happened to you
Worst for me 100% was with the Convex 2.0 2-3 weeks ago. I haven’t combusted in over a year before that (and years before that dynavap booboo) but going from pristine flavor to combusted nasty shit on a strong hit from the Convex just wrecked my night lol. I had the taste of combustion in my mouth for what felt like a day after and didn’t really want to vape anything during that time. I laugh because it’s kind of a strong response to combusting, but my god I hate it so much.

Sticky Brick. It was awful, to say the least, kept me away from them until I was able to get an OG and finally figure them out. Much, much better…
I have my Forge with presets for the Tornado and for the small Anvil bowl. I was constantly hitting the Tornado and then an hour later popping the Anvil into the Forge on the Tornado setting. I have rarely hit the overcooked Anvil because it the higher setting takes longer and I notice before hitting it. Tornado isn’t happy in the Forge anymore, so the problem has disappeared.
It’s been a couple of years, but a 2020 M Dynavap. Huge hit that turned into combustion, put me on my knees and had me coughing and trying to breathe for half an hour.
i think my worsts were with the SSV or LSV, there was something about those almost-finished bowls and the slow airflow that produced the nastiest yellow smoke ever
to make it worse - when the bowl was near combustion the method of saving it was typically speed up the inhale, but when its already too late I’d end up snapping down a whip-full of that yellow smoke.
For me it was a m2020, too. Some years ago, but that hurts me to be imaginable for the Rest of my life.
Probably back when Troy and Jerry were showing hits on the show and I uploaded a lotus combustion video and made them penalty dab 
The first time I hit my brand new and first ball vape. I’d set it to 420, took a hit and immediately combusted.
Celsius instead of Fahrenheit… 
And I’d just cleaned my Stündenglass for it.
Bakm yesterday night, just arrived I took the same approach that I do with the stunner.
Stunner 37 sec is a perfect heat time for me, I’ve tried the bakm at 30 sec and after a small inhale I saw the globe like a bulb on christmas.
Nice effect shitty taste, really medicated…
The last few times it’s always been via glass and I’ll see that yellow demon build up and quickly abort…
but the last time was with a hydro that wasn’t fully cooled and I was already 4 dabs in and just finished it 
Worst for me was with the Quartz Cap, I swear I combusted with it about 30% of the time, just couldn’t get the timing down right. But boy when you get it right does it rip!
oh man, i forgot about that one - those devices are sensitive
they’re also hard to clean after combustion - all of my torchy quartzy devices still smell like an ashtray
The first time I used my terpcicle. Combusted so bad it turned the whole thing a yellowish brown. I was looking forward to it so much. Oh well, it’s made up for it 100’s of times over
Using my 2021M Dynavap with a glass piece at the time - I’d get nice big rips; nothing out the ordinary. Hit that baby and it kept going - was early on in my DynaDays so I wasn’t too familiar what was happening but got more than I bargained for.
One of those hits that keep on hitting and I coughed like a MF and it was still going lol.
Stank up my glass too which was the real kicker because when you combust in a nice clean glass piece you can’t just go back to ripping it and same with the Dynvap if it’s been heavily combusted upon when you’re just normally vaping with it both taste awful and both must be cleaned.
Thankfully from those days and having that happen I learned the tell tale signs like “oh shit there’s smoking coming out of the vapcap!” Abort those hits if it happens and don’t even pull it through the Dynavap just dump it; saves cleaning the Dynavap and glass if I am using some.

I haven’t combusted in a really long while but the worst was probably a Dynavap. I mean, how can they expect someone who’s stoned and possibly in a loud environment to hear a cooldown click?
I’d either forget to wait for a cooldown click or mistakenly think I’d already heard it. I’d always use the Wand and I liked to draw while it’s heating up. When it took to long, I’d wonder why it never clicked and then blammo!
The first time I combusted, was with a VaporGenie. Getting the VG to lose that combustion flavor took weeks of use until it was completely lined with sublimates again!
The Second time was actually the worst. It was in 2010 and it was the SSV. I call it the worst because the tubing was difficult to make odor free that first time. It was also the best accidental combustion because I learned how to easily clean my SSV/DBV tubing.
While my tubing is very stained, it is odor free.
Using the technique in the cleaning video at Clean SSV tube even a tube once combusted in becomes clean smelling.
My worse was the Taffee Bowle shocklingly and it was more because I never in a million years expected it to combust. I’ve hit the bowl hundreds of times with nothing even near dark abv but one random day on 4 out of 5 temp I took my typical massive hit and I don’t know if it was just super dry weed or what but that thing lit up mid hit and I just kept going not even thinking about combustion, the bowl was just ash. Never has happened again or gotten near combustion even on 5 lol.

My worst combustion episode on a DHV was with the Solo 3 on a water piece shortly after first getting it. The temp was set to only 390 or something. It was a long draw that just went up in smoke.
