Tornado by Vestratto

The Tornado by Vestratto!
Available in two versions, the Full rig or the WPA rig.
As you can see, they have a full page disclaimer you need to agree to before you can enter the store.

Either torch heated or by an Induction heater, I prefer induction heating as it is very consistent.
I also prefer the WPA adapter version over the full rig as I find the results in a WT are way better.
It has quite a low heated mass and for my use it works better as a one hitter than a sipper.
It’s a well designed piece of Stainless Steel that definitely gets the job done!

There have been a few complaints about the quality of materials used as quite a few have pits forming in their caps.
Mine is still perfect and I don’t think there has been a solution found yet.

My way to use the Tornado is thus:
I load the cap to about 1/3rd full and close, don’t forget to loosen the cap very slightly!
The give it a good pull to get the herb to the bottom of the chamber.
When I insert the Tornado into my Wand, the bottom line of holes are still visible.
Heat at 540F till the light goes solid and then count to 5 and remove from the Wand.
Straight into the WT and hit and it’s always an instant whitewall!!
Full extraction every time.
Not the greatest flavor at higher temps but extremely potent!

I need to make some better videos but here is a quick demo of the Tornado!

I’m still liking mine and using it quite often. Just got an adapter to try on the MH stems which is cool, but still prefer the wpa.

An older vid I threw up on FC through a bubbler, dry :dashing_away: https://imgur.com/a/P0CLiIE

How has everyones experience dealing with vestratto been?

At one point it was a coin toss if I bought a Tempest 2 or the Tornado. Vestratto is Canadian, so I leaned toward getting a Tornado, but my experience when I reached out to the company convinced me to go with the Tempest 2.

Another Canadian here!

My experience was abysmal to say the least…
For the very first time my credit card was not accepted by their site and it was endless trouble to sort it out.
They blamed my bank and told me to sort it out with them as everything was good on their side.
My bank tells me it’s on their side as according to their system everything with my CC is perfect and I have a huge limit that is 100% available…

I was not interested in this vape in any way, shape or form but a friend from FC in the US asked me to order one for them and ship it since Vetsratto would not.
He eventually had to purchase it and in the end, I could not ship it to the US without so much paperwork accounting for every piece of the vape…
In the end I just returned all his money and now own a Tornado!

I will not buy anything else from them, especially since that initial landing page on their website!

Ya, I get that tariffs are a weird thing for many people to wrap their heads around (they havent watched the news in the last year?!) and I can get a company being annoyed at constantly having to explain tariffs to customers, or having to deal with returned items because customers refuse to pay the tariff, but that whole splash screen they have on their site, yikes.

I dealt with them before they added that prompt but I have to say, im not surprised at all. Im being really diplomatic but whoever I spoke with there had a really odd sense of themselves and the company. It really felt like they see customers as an annoyance in their pursuit of money. Doesnt seem like a smart strategy to me.

Oh, and dont get me started on the fact that they apparently work hard to appear like they arent Canadian, including charging Canadians in USD, very odd.

I purchased mine used, so I didn’t have to deal with Vestratto or tariffs. I can only speak to the device, and it is one of my favorites. I load it full with a very light pack, heat it at 100w for 29 seconds for dark AVB on the YLL 3.0 and Wow! I typically use it with a smaller dry glass piece or the TS Wooden Art Tornado Stem when I’m feeling brave.

Yep, have the stick adapter, never used it once. I also got mine second hand, and it is a beast.

I like it on a stick, it’s a lot though so I don’t do it very often. Much more comfortable on glass. Yeah, it’s a beast for sure, I love it.

Just tried the Tornado on a Lotus Gentlemen’s pipe, it’s a nice pairing.

Sip or rip is the question lol

I got one pretty descent rip in, it’s pretty hot lol. Then I sipped or puffed a bit. Very enjoyable and effective.
