Website not working on old browsers

Hi,

The website doesn’t work on my old macbook, browser is unsupported. I tried differents browsers.

There is what i get:

Any solutions?

I tried to message the contact mail but it doesn’t work.

which browsers and versions did you try?

i tried:
firefox 115.35.1
safari 13.1.2
(the latests versions compatibles with my computer)
i did not succed to install the others browser recommanded: vivaldi, edge and brave

I still got the problem and can’t use the website
too bad :frowning:

Thing is weird cause it is the first time a website doesn’t work with my computer, i don’t understand because the website doesnt looks « high tech ».

Am i the only one using old school computer ^^?
Anybody have an issue or an idea?

I know it’s not the same but can’t you see it on your mobile phone? I read somewhere here there is app support for it

Yeah i’m actually posting with my phone, but i find it not ergonomic and honestly i never use my phone for reading because it’s exhausting for my sensibles eyes.

I am really not that great with computers or have a lot of knowledge but when I have issues at work and I need to speak with IT people the first thing they always tell me is have you tried clearing your history and browser cache, and that seems to help resolve a lot of issues. Have you tried that? I only ever use an iPad or my phone.

Thanks for the advice, i tried clearing my history browser, my cache and my grinder :rofl: but it still doesn’t work.

Id probably look at third party browsers. See if chrome will install on it. Just put your os version in google and ask what third party browsers work. You can also install a newer os but takes a lot of extra work have to bypass the hardware restrictions

These versions do not contain support for the latest security standards with new websites, especially those that can have AI integration like the engine this site runs on.

Like what NH420 said maybe see if chrome might work but if the MacOS version is too old it may not support the modern plug-ins and security features. In that case, your computer is just too old and outdated for new web code and features and would need to be replaced with newer hardware or the OS upgraded if possible.

I always use Chrome on all of my Macs. I only use Safari if something doesn’t work properly on Chrome; try that. Otherwise, if your MacBook is over 10 years old, then get a new one. I can squeeze a Mac about 10 years before I have to replace them.

Same for me, More than 10 years it’s time for a new one. If you can afford it. On the cheap a Chromebook , works fine and doesn’t cost much

Sadly my 2012 MacBookPro is too old, i have the latest OS version compatible install and i tried differents third party browsers.

My mac is old but working fine, for now this is the first website that doesn’t work.

I love this community but cannot afford a new mac right now. :sweat_smile:

Sounds right about 10 years on a mac wanna say my 2012 pro lasted till somewhere in the 2020s

could format it and put on a linux distro.. mint is always solid

i’m still using an asus from 2012 that i put a 128gb ssd in and loaded up linux mint and it runs great
