In my S&B lineup (Crafty+, Veazy, Venty) the Veazy has replaced the Crafty+ for two main reasons:
- the hand feel. It just feels so much smaller more comfortable in my hand
- permanent boost mode, like the Venty: Since I got the Venty (and it got permanent boost mode added), I have been missing that on the Crafty+. It is what was missing to make a single button device usable without having to re-activate boost mode.
Also, with a S&B collection like that, you HAVE to add a Veazy. Period.

Very good points, and I was wondering how the form factor would compare. I always run on the highest temperature so it doesn’t really matter to me about the super boost feature.
Do you notice any difference at all in the vapour signature between the Crafty+ and the Veazy? I have seen a lot of comments regarding the taste being a little bit different from the Veazy.
I saw that too. Seems like the taste is a little blunted compared to the Venty but, for me, my palate isn’t that well developed that I think I could notice a difference unless they were side by side, especially since I have no s&b experience. In your case, though, idk. I was looking for Venty comparisons, since that’s the exemplar s&b. I do remember a couple people saying it would be worth “upgrading” from the crafty but not from the mighty

Hi. How do you get the temp boost on the Venty. I reckon I could use another 10 deg C.
The boost just quickly increases the temperature to a pre-set level by pressing the on/off button twice in quick succession. It does not let you get past the 210°C though.
Ah….I was envisaging a universe expanding jailbreak to push it beyond 210c!

I have been using products from S and B forever…when the Volcano fist came out…I have one or several over the years. I have every vape they have ever made including the PLENTY…LOL. I do not think they are NOT the ‘leaders’ of the industry but, they are amazing. Jurgen stepping down I think will not make things better or worse. It is a good company with good designers and marketing. It is going to take more to bring this company down…all of mine are just collecting dust because I use Tafee products and Vapman only these days…
I have nothing bad to say about S and B and all the best goes to Jurgen. He is a very nice person…he should retire and enjoy his life. Why not?

After 25 years, Jürgen Bickel, who co-founded and built STORZ & BICKEL has decided to transition out of his role as Managing Director. David Männer took over since April 1, 2026. He has been with STORZ & BICKEL for 14 years and most recently served as deputy managing director.
I do not believe the future of S&B is in any danger.

Maybe a collaboration with ball vape developers. Between the ash catchers, recyclers, cloud buddies and chiller set ups that people attach to their water pipe/bong we could use a little forced air help.

I have attached SSV tubing to the EZ Valve (fits well), and used adapter on the other end into a bubbler. Result was good!

They are king of the party vapes and will be for some time. They can churn out bag after bag and have people checked out in under 30 minutes. As long as they don’t mess with the Volcano too much it should sell for years to come. I have a square water pipe and a multi-user globe that I pair with it. If I ever get to post pics I can illustrate a little better. Not sure what’s up with the pics but it takes a lot away from posting.

II did have to search what means “His non-compete is ticking away”. So he is out completely at S&B and can’t do anything for a certain amount of time. He is enjoying life but he is also an inventor so I don’t think he will stop creating something new.

For me there is no question the Company will stay alive for many years, the better question is what to expect next from them.
The Mighty Oven in various Versions is done, I can not imagine another Version of it that make Sense.
A quieter Volcano would be fine but I think that Baloons do not sell in relevant ammounts today.
Balls? I do not think they will do. Not their cup of Tea.
A Dab Device? I do not hope for that, no expertises for that, the Market for Dabbing isn’t big in Europe today.

I agree with all of this especially a quieter volcano with a switch on bottom that can be switched between medical and high mode. Medical mode would just be normal to 230oC and high mode would take it to 260oC.
They could also do this with their other devices.

Thought maybe combining the heat source of the balls with a low flow air source would help circulate the air through the various accessories. Stoner thinking by a non inventor. Heat retention is the biggest issue followed by forced air through a water pipe which is a bit tricky to inhale. A sip from the tube gets you a lung full of vapor.
