I’m going to reach out to Vgear. They sold me the YLL along with the Tempest 2.
I wonder if there’s a way to move the magnet farther away or something??

I’ve had mine a few months and the area is one subject to wear.
I don’t use the T2 on it much, my wife slams the Dani on it mostly but what’s likely happening is the top of the Tempest 2 has a screw for the VI housing and it’s probably scratching the hell out of the YLL. Cosmetic mostly.

I reached out to Vgear a week ago and they haven’t responded. I just sent a follow up.
This is my first experience with them. Has anyone else interacted with their Customer Service?
Here is YLL CEO Mike’s response:
“From the photo you provided, the scratches on the top metal panel appear to be normal wear from regular use. The panel is designed to last a long time, and placing a magnet over that area can help minimize further scratching during use.
That said, we’d be happy to send you a replacement top metal panel.
Could you please send me your shipping address, including your phone number? Once I receive it, I’ll arrange to ship the replacement to you.”

I kinda assumed this would happen when I got it. But definitely whats going on here. I slam mine on them all the time little character adding. Its like playing football kids with the clean jerseys and no odd paint on the helmets didn’t play
