I finally thought of looking for an alternative to the downed server on FC and I am very pleased. I was sorry to lose such a great forum and I really missed you all.
I still remain faithful to Frolic and I am extremely satisfied.

Hey, David, glad you found the place! Frolic may have been a gamble but it seems to be worth it. Personally I’m having fun making different combinations in cooling stems. Need corundum sapphire for a red white and blue cooling stem! 
Though 5-6mm blue marbles would get it done.

I picked up the Frolic a few months ago. I’m primarily a manual vape enthusiast, but I do like a battery vape for using as a portable (my Tempest is an indoor cat 
)
I was a little underwhelmed when I first tried it. I’d heard people raving about the vapour production, but I was finding I had to crank the temperature to 225c and draw on it for 15 to 20 seconds to get some good clouds
I tried the TCR tweak and I’m much happier with it. I’m now using 185c and getting dynavap size clouds in on demand mode, and clearing the bowl in 2 to 3 cycles
This guide is the guide I followed, which was posted on the reddit by u/n0tyou2, and they credited dzoinp from FC for doing extensive testing

Awaiting delivery of my first Frolic. I’m noticing Molicel P50Bs are out of stock at the reputable places. Can anyone advise if P42As work ok? Are there any other brands/models I should use until the P50Bs are back?
I’m running 50E and 50XGs perfectly well … but I’ve got 21700 flashlights to feed also. One of those green wrapper 21700s, I believe, gave an overheat warning, so that one stays with the lights.

The P42A has slightly less capacity than the P50b, but it does work. I’ve run my Frolic on both, and I did notice the difference.
Same for me since the 50 isn’t available from those I trust imrbatteries for example
Well, the Frolic absolutely lives up to the hype. I had been hearing about the amazing airflow, but didn’t realize just how enjoyable having wide open airflow would be. I like to medicate with CBG for focus throughout the day and this thing gets me to where I want so quickly.
I also really appreciate how they clearly thought through so many details all over the device - big replaceable battery, beautiful screen, big clicky buttons, isolated air paths, nifty heat sink disc, instant heat-up, and easy mouthpiece switching. And with all of those features and power, it’s still reasonably pocketable. Totally worth the premium price.
Side note - I picked up some Reliance RS50s and they’ve been working great.
At what temps are you using it. @derzeppo. I like a similar style during the day
@805IQ3 On the Frolic, don’t put a lot of faith in the temperatures people say they use. Since the temperature regulation can be adjusted, many people have tweaked the calibration and are currently running hotter or colder than the stock units.
@805IQ3 I’m a bit of a lighter weight than some here. I do 3-4 pulls at 347 then step up for 1-2 pulls at 356, 365, 374, and 383. At home, I’ll usually switch to water at 365+ to avoid throat irritation. No calibration changes from factory.
Thank you I’m fairly close temps you’re running I know it’s different from device to device. But over all I Temp step from 350-390 during the day. occasionally going up to 410 at home
The Frolic is currently the number 1 portable in my rotation. After being initially a bit disappointed with the performance, I calibrated the TCR and wow this is a beast! Very easy to get a one hit extraction at 195-200C.
The Frolic is my top portable as well and edged out the Bowle2, Solo3 and Convex2 (so far). The heater is a juggernaut and such a joy to use. Find your favorite stem for cooling and restriction with the DOA and any vaping experience is at your disposal.
I’ve had mine over a year now and it looks mint still. Great construction and really rugged.
My Frolic showed up in the mail 2 hours ago. Well, three bowls in and I can’t see myself ever using my Mighty+ again.
I received my Musa 3000 in February, and a few months into that, a mobile session with my Mighty+ just doesn’t really satisfy anymore. (Yes, ball vapes will ruin your tolerance). After a few bowls on this Frolic (in on-demand mode) at higher temps, I am again feeling totally satisfied with a portable. The Frolic feels higher quality in-hand, than you can really sense online. This thing has really surprised me. At $400 I had high expectations, and so far, the Frolic has surpassed them. On-demand full-convection hits on dry herb are the way… (I know the Frolic is convection & conduction but it sure acts like full convection).

Yes, it’s really well put together. It just feels solid and the materials used are obviously top quality.
My only small issue is that it’s just slightly too big to be pocketed comfortably. It’s great on colder days where I have a coat on or have a bag with me, but I won’t be taking it out with me when we get the annual 4 days of sunshine here in the UK

I think my biggest gripe with the Frolic is how the weed sticks to the CU screen when i pull the top off.
the mighty/venty twist off, which seems to help separate the stuck herb
I just give a couple of taps on the metal disc before removing the CU. That seems to release the ABV from the screen for me.
I only put about 0.15 in the bowl though, so that might not help for everyone.
I noticed that the grass sticks to the screen if it is poorly evaporated. if I open the bowl after the steam has stopped flowing, the screen often remains almost blank.
