The company redesigned the stock cooling unit to fit the capsules. If you just got a frolic, it most likely is the newer version and fits the capsules. Depends on your source.
the direct adapter also fits the capsules but is more for glass/ after market stem options.
Thanks, I was actually wondering about this last night because the capsules fit perfectly as is. I don’t like using capsules very often, but they are very convenient when I am out and looking for a quick and easy reload. So far, I am beyond impressed with this little beast.
Before owning a Frolic, I wanted to believe everybody was full of shit, that it was all hype and people were just coddling each other in some sort of communal buyers remorse/mass hysteria… Couldn’t be more happy to be wrong; this vape wrecks my whole face. Full convert, big fan.
Frolic completely killed my VAS for electric portables. I was slightly curious about the Flaske but now it seems the Frolic still is all I need in that department.
I have the Frolic and Flaske as 1A and 1B.
I think the Flaske is better at sharing, and the vapor is extremely comfortable while being potent.
I often forget people can’t handle hotter vapor as well as I’m accustomed to sometimes.
The Frolic punches a tad harder leaning more hybrid and can be used much easier on glass.
Love them both.

The vapes after the first batch or two come with the update cooling unit that takes S&B dosing caps. You can use the dosing caps anyway, but the top won’t fit all the way down.

Haha, after a certain dollar amount I just tell myself that by default. “I’m NOT a cheap bastard, NO vape is worth that kind of cash!” 
Well… Day two and the honeymoon continues, lol. My only regret is I didn’t get this sooner, but I’m happy I waited and got it with a 25% discount. it’s also smaller than I thought it would be, and unbelievably powerful.

One thing I’m starting to appreciate about the Frolic is that it doesn’t have the auto sensor shut off like the Bowle 2. I like to give it a few cigar puffs or lightly inhale to build up some heat, and quite a few times, the sensor will automatically shut off the heater… of course that has nothing to do with me being too fucking high, and distracted when I’m trying to inhale when I’m four pots deep 
With the Frolic, I can cigar puff away and build up some nice heat, and then get some massive mouth to lung draws, and blow out some huge clouds with no auto shut off of the heater 
And I love how grippy it feels… If that makes any sense at all
I feel so assured when I’m holding it, it just feels like it’s sticking to my hand, but not in a sticky gross kind of way.
Just don’t dangle it by the mouthpiece over a pond. However, if you do, it still survives! @Northernhigh420 doing gods work for us.

I love my TB2 but sometimes it’s a chore to do the side-breath thing to fool the heater so it doesn’t shut off and you can draw until the timeout. Especially if you slip up and the heater shuts off in the middle of a nice draw.
I’ve always wondered how the Frolic manages to fire indefinitely without this type of protection. It’s nice not to have to worry about it.
The Frolic is just a solid, solid vape and the first portable where I couldn’t overpower the heater with my draw. It’s King of the portables for me currently.

I viewed Frolic’s cost as medical equipment expense. Used Lobo one full year and considered that device totally paid for. Now if only insurance would reimburse me!
