This vendor does excellant work! I have a collection of her work both for my Flaske & Frolic.
The announcement she is doing a collab with Delta 3d Studios is great news and I wish her much success!

Pardon me I now see the earlier response.![]()
Nice review.
I’ll only comment on the last part where you wonder whether it’ll be a daily driver. I don’t have a Flaske but I have a TB2 that I use as my “on the go” vape only around the house because it’s clumsier than a Flaske.
I felt just like you did about the speed of these vapes. They really are just like flower carts. Well, you know what they say … “speed kills”. ![]()
I started using my TB2 so much because I fell in love with how you could load a bowl and be vaping in under 10 sec. It certainly doesn’t hurt that the vape is dead simple. Push a button on the number you like and enjoy. No uncertainty about how you’re hit will turn out after you push that button.
Speed and convenience might push hard for your attention in the next weeks. Just sayin’ ![]()
Thank you for the reply.
The convenience factor and the uniqueness are probably what “wows” many people about the Tb2. I always wanted to get one because of the form factor. There’s just something mesmerizing about having a glass of my favorite bourbon with a little puffy puff of a nice terpy hybrid right in the same glass.
I have only had the flaske for 3 days, the novelty has not worn off yet, but even i am limiting the use of it and trying to get it to be a travel only vape. But how easy it is, makes it tough to put it down for sure.
honestly, i want NOT to like it because of how expensive it is, but there is nothing else on the market that has the feel, appeal and speed of the flaske as far as i know. Now, i am making that statement with not having owned every vape or even experiencing a lot of vapes…it is just from what i see based on my limited knowledge of Tafée as a company versus what vapes i have actually had.
i am still putting it through the paces. I am not trying to be super critical right out of the gate. I wanna use it for a month, then i will nit-pick it to death and see if i am still happy, As i am with all the the simrells i have (that’s the vape that has ruined every other vape for me in the last year or so).
i definitely see your point though. Everyone i have shown it to and those who have actually tried mine are completely blown away with it….until i answer their “how much was it” question. Then the light in their eyes fades pretty quick….but they keep hitting it. They all said “omfg it’s not worth that.” To which i reply, “after using it for one sesh, understandable…but use it all the time and you will see the convenience of what $600 gets you.”
It isnt for everyone for sure….but damn, so far, for as little of time i have had it, i am impressed.
variety of pics I did say arrived flawless but has worked flawless any marks on it I put there. The alignment on mine seems to be better or worse at times but never enough to jar me.No flakes I can see and have had mine a while must be a real good bit of usage altogether.
The lines and seams definitely look way better on yours, thank you for sharing!
I could be nuts but to the untrained eye i think the best looking flaskes seem to have a well defined uniform gap between the top plate and body.I really hope they nail QC.
He nailed it. Conclusion — not worth $567. And he likes the Bowle better.
glad he made that video so i wouldn’t have to, honestly
Uh, my problem with this review, is “Bud” the reviewer. Isn’t this the guy that slobbed the knob of the failed Ghost MV1 so hard they should have gotten a room?
that being said, I can’t really fault this review! He has locked onto a set of pro’s/con’s that are hard to argue against. Battery life, operational use & effects are quite good. Fit n finish, mouthpiece and stem removal need some refinement. Fire button placement produces a fair # of “dry fires” which Tafee advises are detrimental to the vape.
Looks like a lot of opportunity for ver 2.0 to improve & no argument from anybody that the vape is on the spendy side. So other than Bud is unlikable and a proven shill, I have to admit a quality, factual review was produced!
Wait, what’s the backstory on him?
Well a number of years ago, this reviewer “Bud” fangirled super hard for the failed vape the Ghost MV1, I mean to the point he had un-disclosed financial entanglement with the manufacturer.
He had a famous crash out(perhaps can still be viewed)? And literally “left” the vape review space for a year or two and then remerged. Problem is in the interim the scandal rocked his credibility hard and he’s kinda of an also ran at this point.
He appears to be trying to rebuild himself but at one time he was considered a top dog in the vape reviewing world.
Again I can’t fault the actual review of the Flaske just that he is still cloaked in shill stink in my book and I’m sure I’m not the only one out there who thinks the same.
@RobbIt The OG Vape Critic stepped away for a while and came back as BudBossTV a little over a year ago. I’ve always enjoyed his takes on dry herb vapes and I’m glad he’s back sharing his opinions again. I don’t hold it against anyone for stepping away because of mental health. Sometimes life hits you and you have to do what’s best for yourself. At the end of the day, I’m just happy to see one of the OGs back talking vapes and doing his thing.
My fault, my apologies to Bruno, but he probably doesn’t read this site anyway
I bought a Flaske for Bud, thought he would enjoy Bowle tech in a better form factor
My mistake
I didn’t understand the complaint about airflow, and I get decent clouds so maybe it has to do with how he was packing the bowl.
But the airflow complaint is confusing. I’ve never heard someone list open airflow as a negative in a convection vape… in fact, with the TB2 people wanted more airflow. They would adjust the mouthpiece by raising it higher to increase the airflow because some found it too restrictive.
The only complaint should be if the heater isn’t able to keep up with the open airflow.
Yes! I’ve already have some inventory from MMS Metalworks on my site, and expecting another batch of inventory over the next few weeks. Their pieces are works of art and I am excited to add them to my catalog.
Yes, I think that particular complaint is very much a personal opinion that may not be true for others. Compare that to his comments about the short mouthpiece and fit and finish, which I think are common denominators for many of us.
I watched Bud’s review of the FLASKE, and while I agree with him on some points, there are a few others where my experience has been quite different.
I’ve had my FLASKE for a little over a week now. Mine is from the second batch, and based on some of the feedback I had read about the first batch, it seems like Tafée listened to the community and addressed at least some of the issues.
First, let’s talk about airflow. In Bud’s review, he says that the FLASKE has roughly twice the airflow of the Tafée Bowle 2. That is definitely not what I’m experiencing when comparing my FLASKE directly with my Bowle 2.
I would say the airflow on my FLASKE is maybe 10% more open than on my Bowle 2. In fact, if I remove the silicone mouthpiece from the Bowle 2 stem and take a draw, I can barely notice any difference at all compared with the FLASKE. So I was genuinely surprised by the airflow comparison in Bud’s review.
When it comes to vapor density, I’m getting essentially the same results from both the FLASKE and the Bowle 2. I honestly don’t notice any meaningful difference in the way the oven performs or in the final results. When I use the same heat levels on both devices, the AVB comes out basically the exact same color.
I had also read reports about some first-batch FLASKE units combusting at level 5. If that was indeed an issue with the first batch, then it looks like Tafée listened to the feedback and made some adjustments. With my second-batch FLASKE, I haven’t experienced any combustion at level 5, even with long draws. Basically, level 5 behaves exactly the same way as it does on my Bowle 2.
As for the build and assembly, it also seems like some improvements may have been made. The only noticeable gap on my unit is between the removable stem assembly and the body of the FLASKE, which I personally consider completely normal since it is a removable part. If you look closely, you’ll also notice silicone sealing pieces on both sides of the removable stem assembly, which help keep everything properly sealed.
So from a functional standpoint, I really have nothing to complain about. It works exactly as it should.
Now, I completely understand why some people might be unhappy with the cosmetic appearance, especially if the gap around the stem looks larger on one side than on the other. I also understand the argument that this is an expensive device, and at this price point people expect the fit and finish to reflect that.
I can agree with that to some extent. Personally, though, I’m not someone who pays a huge amount of attention to cosmetic details. As an engineer, what matters most to me is whether the design works properly and performs as intended. From that perspective, I really have nothing negative to say.
My FLASKE works perfectly, and its performance is basically identical to my Tafée Bowle 2. The biggest difference for me is simply the form factor. The FLASKE is much more portable, and that’s something I’m definitely going to take advantage of.
I do a lot of hiking, and I enjoy vaporizing during hikes that can last several hours. I never really felt comfortable taking my Bowle 2 with me on a hike because of its size and shape. I’ve already taken the FLASKE hiking, though, and it works incredibly well for that purpose. It fits in my pocket, I can carry extra bowls discreetly, and the whole setup is extremely convenient.
For the kind of hiking and outdoor use I enjoy, the FLASKE is honestly a great fit.
Kudos to Delta 3D for bringing MMS Metalworks into the fold!
I have purchased her mouthpieces for both my Frolic & Flaske and they have been excellant!
I think this collab will be successful for both of you!
