The Lotus by Inhale

Lotus Vaporizer – Quick Overview

Hey everyone,

we’re David & Michael from INHALE — and again, we’re really happy to see this forum growing.

For us, it’s incredibly important that people can exchange real experiences, learn from each other, and push the understanding of these devices further. That’s exactly what makes this space valuable.

If the Vapman is about precision and compact ritual, the Lotus is a completely different beast.

It’s a manual, torch-powered convection vaporizer that works with dry herbs and concentrates, but delivers a very different experience compared to Vapman.

What Makes the Lotus Special

Pure Convection Heating

The Lotus is all about true convection — meaning your material is heated by hot air, not by direct contact.

-> The flame never touches your herbs

-> The air gets heated in the cap and then pulled through the bowl, fresh air comes from the bottom of the CAP so no Butane gets Inhaled.

This leads to:

  • extremely clean flavor

  • very even extraction

Flavor & Vapor Quality

The Lotus is known as a flavor chaser, but it can also go much further.

  • Very rich terpene profile

  • Smooth, clean vapor

  • Capable of huge, dense clouds when pushed

It can stay light and flavorful — or hit surprisingly hard depending on how you use it.

Manual Control (but Different from Vapman)

Unlike the Click, there’s no indicator —

but also unlike the Vapman 2.0, the heating style is more forgiving.

  • You heat the plate while inhaling

  • Your draw speed + flame distance control temperature

  • Once you find the rhythm, it feels very natural

A lot of people describe it less like a device and more like something you learn to “play”

Efficiency & Session Style

One big advantage:

  • The material is only heated while you inhale

    -> nothing cooks between hits

-> very efficient use of herbs

You can:

  • take one hit and stop

  • or finish a bowl in one strong draw

Very flexible depending on how you use it.

Capacity & Power

  • Larger bowl compared to Vapman (~0.3g possible)

  • Works great for:

    • longer sessions

    • stronger hits

Perfect for Bong Users

This is a big one:

  • The Lotus works perfectly with water pieces thanks to the direct 14mm adapter

  • Combined with its convection power, it can deliver very strong, dense hits through a bong

If you’re coming from smoking or using bongs, this setup feels very natural — just much cleaner.

Versatility

  • Works with herbs + concentrates

  • Can be used:

  • dry (with pipe)

  • or with water setups

Very adaptable depending on your preference.

The Feel of the Lotus

This is important — the Lotus is not just about specs.

It feels like:

  • a vapor pipe

  • more relaxed, more session-oriented

  • something you use at home, on the couch, with time

A Bit of Background

The Lotus has its roots in a California design, but today it’s crafted in Italy in the Dolomites, together with the Vapman.

Like everything we do at INHALE, it’s made by a small team with a lot of passion, focusing on:

  • natural materials

  • durability

  • and real performance instead of trends

Final Thoughts

Once you understand the Lotus, it’s incredibly rewarding.

If you’re looking for:

  • top-tier flavor

  • true convection

  • huge clouds when you want them

  • and something that works perfectly with a bong

then the Lotus is something special.

Happy lotus Friday my friends!!!

Very good to be back. I’ve missed this every week.

I designed and printed this magnetic docking station for my n3rdglass simrell Sherlock, love it. I love that the lotus has pushed for J hooks, dry pipes, the gentleman’s pipe, for a long time. They’re my favorite.

I would like some feedback before dropping the money. I am NOT a fan of Dynavap type devices, the flavor is great, but manual dexterity issues keep me from spinning the vape to heat with a torch, so I’m stuck with an induction heater.

I was originally attracted to the Lotus due to the Gentleman’s pipe, but reading and watching a couple videos, it seems that since I’m inhaling as I’m heating it would be easier than the Dynavap because it doesn’t need spinning.

Is this the case? It’s not that expensive of a vape, but it’s not cheap either.

No spin required. Heat it up with the torch until it just starts to glow, then hit it while heating. Adjust draw speed or lighter distance during the hit to make it stronger or weaker. The instructions the new owners did really nail the technique so you can get a good hit early on. You’ll probably combust and get a weak hit or two dialing it in, but once you’re there it’s a really nice session. I used to use it on a bubbler regularly. The new pipes they sell for it are nice!

The Lotus is great one of my favorite butane devices. Technique takes a few tries once you get a feel for it it becomes pretty intuitive. I get some really massive hits off it with the torch or Inductor

One of my favorite ritual vapes.

After my much less than satisfactory venture into Dynavaps, I swore off torched vapes. I tend to trust @stickstones and @Northernhigh420 though, and just placed my order. If I like it better than the Dynavap, I’ll probably be ordering the Vapman too. Can the Vapman fit on the same pipe that comes with the Lotus, or would it need a WPA?

It needs a wpa that they sell for it

Vapman would need a wpa and I think the click doesn’t have one could be wrong. Exciting I love the Lotus just started messing with mine again recently. I like it because its has great flavor, can get up and rip but mostly its just full control with direct input. Probably the first vape I really loved

@Northernhigh420 I loved the good hits from the Dynavap when I could get them, but it was almost impossible to get them. Eventually I think I tracked the issue down to mobility issues in my hands not being able to spin and keep in flame.

I was watching a video the other day though and noticed Jerry or whoever it was was using arm motion. I’m hopefull this will allow me to get good hits easier than the Dynavap did. And then I noticed the pipe… Now is the hard part, waiting for it to get here.

Might be easier if its the fingers that are the problem with the vapcap. Lotus is more like stirring a pot with a torch if that makes sense same motion just tighter circles
