Bit of an aside but, the cap armor DynaVap released eliminated the need to rotate while using a torch. The armor acts like a thermal insulating blanket and distributes the heat of the torch.
Dyna’s can be finicky and different tips and caps slightly change some variables but dialing them in with a torch helps your overall butane game across all vapes.
And induction makes them repeatable once you find a ritual you like if you go that path.

Planning to get a lotus next decent sale. I’m wondering how you use the lotus with an inductor. I haven’t seen any induction products that seem like they would heat that kind of design
I use the Inductor on it all the time have a few videos of it
The bad thing is it us too aggresive…i mean, it heats even the screws 
(and, well, the inductor cam be uncomfortable cause its huge box).
This vape deserves a dedicated pipe. With an integrated but removable chamber and a SS/ti cleanable vaporpath. The actual pipe is good, but it is a regular pipe.
Nothing a back pack and extension cord cant handle

That would be nice with a little bag. With the inductor you need a full big bag and you would look like a ghostbuster
I have mine connected to a 2Ah DeWalt 20v power tool battery with a $35 voltage regulator attachment from Amazon. Works awesome and way more portable, but outputs a bit less power versus plugging in to the main inductor unit directly.

It does ghost drain so you dont want to leave it always connected, but those batteries last for a looooong time especially going to higher capacity ones vs the minimum I’m using for portability weight reasons.
Since it has the XT60 connector you can just plug the same cable you use to connect the wand to the inductor, no adapters needed.

It finally got here! It did take me about 6 bowls to finally get a good hit, but I HATE the taste of combustion and was taking it slow. No issues using it with bad hand dexterity. The wood pipe is FIRE, it just feels right. I kind of wish the case would hold both the glass and the wood pipes, but at least the wood pipe fits in if you plan on using it.
Added advantage, even with the torch, it looks more like lighting a briar than a crack pipe!
been using it a lot with the Hookmate the angle it sits at makes it really easy to see what your doing. Glad you figured it out provides some great hits and always my most satisfying butane device. I just like the extra control during the hit that it has

I usually use both hands to move and angle, would have to get use to just doing it all with the torch.
I have always been curious about the Lotus, Vapman and do love my sizable Dynavap Kit with a torch. I prefer using those with an armored cap/cap armor and a torch and with a standard vapcap I prefer an induction heater…no spinning 
allowed. I can get some great hits off a Dynavap, probably why I kept buying more, can the Lotus and Vapman deliver a comparable or superior hit? The Lotus has been an interesting for a while and I already have a 14mm jhook from POTV I can use.
They are even more ritualistic than the Dynavap, but I find them great for flavor and the Vapman is awesome hash monster.
