So it’s clear, the next bowl I’m gonna try will be in session mode. You made me curious

@Sabina Congrats! You can’t go wrong with a TM2 imo. I own a OG TM2 and if I could have only one vape it would be this one. No plastic, beautiful, stem-loading mobile which hits like a desktop - or even harder. I use it as a one-hitter with the rimmed basket sieve @7 and I seem to remember that I would get up to 15 bowls before the battery (P28A) dies. I usually switch batteries when the light changes to pink though.

I only hit session when I’m milling around with a bubbler and t.bowl and need a free arm for swigging coffee. Recently upgraded the set up with a nice custom handle from Azzwood to replace my cobbled together version consisting of a sawn off bolt and a needle file holder. I generally though prefer the battery replacement rhythm with on demand. Besides I like to savour the herb with some temp stepping and so on. I let the batteries die in the device on red and have never had any battery issues. I do charge them externally though and use P30s and 35s.

Thanks. I use it as a multiple hitter, stem load, now also @7 6 bowls before battery dies. It is only my second day with this vape but I’m already used to it. The flavor last longer than other vaporizers. I didn’t try the session mode yet because the on demand suits me. I really love my TM2

That’s a nice set up there @CultureAgent. I’m looking at that lil Bubbler for my first water piece to pair with my Venty

I’m wondering how that bubbler works with the TM2. Is it balanced or a bit lobsided weight wise at all. I’d really like to get one (been looking at them so a couple months) but not sure about stability.

It’s a great piece, I prefer to use it without water to max out the flavour, I’d say the draw is a little restrictively annoying with water but that’s subjective.

The stability is great due to the shape, sits nicely on the desk and I can’t say I’ve ever felt it to be vulnerable, it also fits great in the hand when you are walking about. I’m pretty sure there’s an old episode of Think Dank that mentions how good it is with devices. It might even be a POTV thang. Can’t quite remember. Trunk and Jonky have a lot of great advice and tips in the back catalogue.

Can someone comment on the airflow on the newer Black TM2? I have a Frolic and a Venty and LOVE the airflow. I have an older Arizer solo 2 and it’s like sucking ice cream thru a straw, zero airflow and I hate it.

I don’t have a Frolic or Venty so I can’t compare, but it doesn’t feel restricted at all. For me it’s a perfect, easy controllable, airflow.

Sabina: since you are just getting started you might consider something along the lines of what I find to be the tops for flavor with th TM2, which is the side-car J-hook that OGB made. Fits like a glove in the hand and is so terp forward. Here is an image from shitsnacks back from FC

Mine has a bit shorter turned out mouth piece and I use a slightly shorter wpa, but you can just flip it over and it all locks together for one handed operation. Cool and tasty !

At the moment I’m very happy with the TM2 like it is, I’m still in my honeymoon phase  but a J-hook is already on my wishlist.

I’m back on my old bought on Ebay TM2 again. The new Black Walnut emitted a weird long vibrate then started with the slow heat up times again thereafter. Not angry or sad, worried would be the word. I consider myself to be a bit of a TM2 enthusiast after buying a bundle of goodies and successfully using them to great happiness for months. They are obviously experiencing some part supply issues. My background back in the day was in circuit debug on mobos for a big electronic company. I know the chaos that can ensue when you are expecting pico farads and what you get are nanos. I’d love to have a look at a known good board and one of these failing units. I’d wager I could spot their problem without any circuit testing! I’ve fired off an email to them, won’t hear till Monday but jeezo, lightning in the same place thrice.

It’s concerning for sure. Got to be a bad batch of parts from somewhere throwing out their quality control. I’ll keep you guys posted in here.

Strange, mine is still working like a charm. Not a hiccup

Watch out for it letting loose an unscheduled 3 sec long haptic buzz. Happened in the middle of a draw in on demand mode. After that, long heat up times, every time. I’m glad to hear you are unaffected, long may that continue.

So initially, the heating time gradually increased, but this time it increased immediately after the long buzz?

The long buzz may have happened on the previous device too. According to searches I’ve carried out; the long buzz is some sort of thermal alarm indicating a fault condition of some kind. Regardless, I’ve got a paperweight once again in a paperless office. A veritable chocolate teapot.
