Vapman and Vapman Click by Inhale

I don’t like the Click (I have the Walnut version). Michael and David might feel it’s the way forward, but I still feel it’s a downgrade from the OG (or any version before the 2.0)

The bowl is too big, the airflow is one sided, and while the click may be useful for beginners, it detracts from what made the original so meditative/ritualistic.

I’m currently using an Olive 1.5(?? - whatever the pre-2.0 Italian made Vapmans were called) and it beats the Click hands down.

So you think just get the classic olive? Is that the model you’re talking about? Or is the 1.5 V no longer being made?

The 1.5 is no longer in production.

Just looked on the NowInhale website and spotted some OG Swiss made Basic (Pure) Vapmans in Pear or Walnut. The difference between the Classic and Basic is the Classic has a layer of Mica applied.

Yes, with the Basic models the torch will scorch the base, around the bowl, but that won’t affect how the Vapman works.

My personal preference will always lean towards the OG/pre-2.0 models (I own seven) but that’s because I’m a low volume user (~0.05g per bowl) and a flavour chaser. I sip, not rip.

Thanks! So will the basic have just as good of flavor once the break in is over? I was scared it would always taste burnt? So if you had your choice of a Swiss made basic or any of the new ones 2.0, classic click. Do you think you would go with the basic Swiss? I’ll be using a torch.

I’ve never seen reports of the Basic tasting burnt (on the old FC thread).

I’d go for the OG Basic. In fact, I’ve just bought one.

I also only use a torch. I like ritual lol

Hey Squidge, I love my Olive 1.5 the most, too.
But i tend to use the 2.0 a little more often just because of the better cleaning possibilties.
For a daily Driver it did not feel okay for me to unscrew the screen that often, am afraid to dull the holes for the screws too fast.
But for me for a now and then Vape the OG with its three Airports is one of the best Designs in my Vape History!

Amazing what you see in the Australian wild.

You like the 2.0? I think the 2.0 might be a good investment for the same cleaning reasons you stated. It also seems like it might just be built better than the other new ones.

I’ve never had a problem with the screws stripping. My habit has always been to tighten down gently then unscrew slightly so the wood can expand if it needs to.

I’m more afraid when removing the screen from the Click (I don’t own a 2.0) in case I bend the screen “wings” too much.

Greetings, things changed drastically recently, I had to take in my Father who is a healthy 98 year old. So…our hands are full right now…he just moved in.

Once we get him settled…we will go back to it all. I miss Vapman…I have not used a Vapman in awhile…I don’t use the Click…so, its been a really long time…

Cheers,

I think the Vapman Click is a subpar vape in many ways. I think the 2.0 is a masterpiece.

I owned the click before I owned the 2.0 so I’m quite unbiased. I’m not just rejecting change.

Agreed on bowl being too big, and the click taking away the ritual. But also the vape signature is meh. Yet the 2.0 vape signature is better than anything I have experienced. In the 2.0 the tight cone shape wraps the conductive bowl around most the herb.

I also think the Click has been a failure in attracting loads of newcomers to the Vapman world, as almost everyone who buys one is disappointed. Most people won’t buy a 2.0 afterwards like me. I only did so because I had too much trust is some of the FC old heads. And I had to really see it though and try a proper Vapman.

I see no problem with Nowinhale continuing the line. But on the website the 2.0 is burried by constant new woods and variations for the inferior click. I don’t get it. Let me get a purple heart 2.0. because god knows I’m never buying another click

I bought the Amaranth/Purpleheart Click and a replacement 2.0 heating element (bowl) so I could make a Purpleheart 2.0, but I’ve been distracted by Simrell and haven’t bothered yet. They even send a screwdriver for the tiny screws.

Love my click, need a 2.0.

I don’t use my Vapman Click often, but after seeing those pics I took it for a hit.
Is it normal in this device for vapor/resin seeping into some parts of the wood? I feel like I do clean it reasonably often and according to the recommendations of Inhale: No Iso and water on the wood parts. But the wood parts around the screen area for example are sticky from resin. Do I really just swipe those parts with a dry cloth and sometimes put wood oil on and just accept that the resin is in the wood? Or am I missing something here? This and the Punch V2 are my only vapes that have wood.

Greetings…I agree with you.

I am the proud owner of the Vapman Museum and have the rarest of all the woods. I cannot say I have any use for the Click…it never appealed to me because it could not be used with the Station that I love.

Anyway, I love INHALE…I love the fellas and Master Rene is a genius…hands down.

I wish them always all the best. I love Vapman. Outstanding.

Cheers,
