The only work around I can think of is to buy a 240v 16mm coil for your PID of dhgate.
Since the coil used is for 110V

But I’m trying to phase out the blue stands as it’s not been worth the extra inventory management.
I just sent a package to Germany with no issues; but I’ve recently been seeing something online about some new shipping “recycling” regulations in the EU supposedly affecting small businesses that I need to read up on.
For stress testing, my setup isn’t turned off very often so heat up time isn’t something I’ve measured too much with the new wireless ZXL but I’d probably try and let it go an honest 5 minutes for the initial heat up.
With these wireless vapes the coil is making minimal to no direct contact with the vape so the heat up time is a bit more.
Time between bowls doesn’t feel too long - if you’re crushing back to back bowls the zirconia bowl will still be warm, which will leave more heat in the head for air heating.
I’d guess maybe around 2 minutes to fully recover after a good one hitter.
Maybe a little longer if you’re doing really full bowls as those will take more stored heat to evaporate than smaller hits.
So, just out of curiosity (and since it’s been more than a month since you last updated about it, cuz I didn’t wanna bombard you about it right after giving the update), I was just wondering about the ZXXL orders that you had given a final “last call” about… You said that those of us that did send them back and that you had the sent-back kits for, that you were then sending them back to get the manufacturing revisions dealt with - does that mean that those of us who didn’t hold onto our kits and listened to your directions and sent them back immediately when you asked for us to originally - does that mean that we’ll be getting them back first, or are you waiting for any stragglers and sending all the orders back out at the same time…? Just was curious about how all of this was going to play out, as I’m sure both us and you didn’t expect this dichotomy to occur. Just wondering basically if the stragglers are going to end up making us ZXXL patient awaiters wait that much longer or if the ones who trusted you enough to send it back right away and correct it for us will benefit because of it by getting them a little bit sooner rather than being hindered by them? Either way, I know you got our backs and that we’re in the finish line now regardless and it’s not much longer of a wait now… just ridin that patience wave a lil further hehe 
. But mainly just wanted to hopefully clear this up for me and any other ZXXLers who have been wondering about this aspect since “Last Call”. Much love and respect as always (and also can’t reiterate enough how awesome the Mako concept is - seriously thinking about getting one myself now! actually wanted to DM you an idea I had about it when I get the chance - will prolly do that on IG)…

I definitely haven’t forgotten about the ZXXL team honestly I’m just really bad about passing along updates outside of when stuff is really completely finished and ready to ship.
That’s the only time I ever feel like anything is truly done.
They’ll all be coming in at the same time as there won’t be another opportunity to resolve these individually. The ZXXL bowls are being cued up for remachining now.
Apologies for the lag for real, the challenge has been that ZXXL funds ran out a long time ago so I’ve been trying to work up to this all year long. I never expected it to take this long to get back on my feet; but I never expected FC to go offline forever, or my best selling product for the last 3 years to sell one unit the whole year; so it’s been one heck of a journey starting back over from almost nothing. It’s only thanks to my amazing supporters and backers that I’m still able to keep doing this so thank you all sincerely.
I’m incredibly stoked and grateful to still be here to be able to complete this ZXXL project.
This batch is already paid for and on order.
That’s how many units are left in the entire batch before they are all claimed.
Subsequent orders following this sell out will begin taking spots for round 3.
Having a counter to start production is something I tried once before.
I find it can be like an empty restaurant. If there’s a bunch of units visibly left then people avoid reserving as there is no call to action or implied urgency. But I don’t have the resources to be able to start production without reservations.

I guess I’m still a little confused how it all works, and that is fine. Just trying to set an expectation so I can forget about it for a chunk of time, do you still anticipate they will ship by the end of August? Or are you thinking more likely September and if so, early, late? I think you may have already answered this, apologies if that is the case. Thank you!
I think the longest I’ve waited was about 8ish months when I missed out on the last available ZX and ended at number one in the next buy. Fastest was a couple of months waiting for my Mako. Honest to Dog, I sweated bullets with that first buy in. I literally thought I’d gotten that last ZX so having to wait was a drag. But I filled my time reading all of Ryan’s old FC threads and I realized he had a vision and I like people with vision. Then that smallish package of great value arrived and everything was good. Very, very good.
Believe me when I say Ryan creates the only devices you need. Period. Nothing I own provides the taste and performance of P3 tools. And I have a reasonable pile of tools to play with. So yes, waiting is hard but the results of the wait is well worth it.
Will you be taking new orders for ZXXL as well?
I love my zx and waiting for my ZXL but would love a ZXXL as well for the set.
The new law is in place since the 12th of August and if it includes small businesses there’s no way for them to keep shipping to the EU. Chances are that companies with less than 10 employees are excluded.
Do you have any info? Should we try?
Has anyone ever replaced the coil on the ZX? Is it difficult to get the correct tight fit? Would it be easy to source a replacement coil from 3rd parties if needed in the future?
I’ve never replaced a coil, but it’s something that crosses my mind.
I have no doubt I’m going to love the device, and I’m fine with waiting however long. I’m just looking for an updated estimate, since the product listing indicates it will ship this month. I’ll reread through this thread and see if I can find the information I’m looking for. If I missed it and someone can give me whatever the current estimate is, that would be fantastic.
Just to clarify, this doesn’t mean small US businesses can’t ship to Europe anymore. It just adds more packaging and EPR requirements. Phase3 can still ship the ZXL to Europe, they just have to deal with some extra paperwork and costs.
Yes, I highly recommend only replacing with the coils from Phase3. No fitment work needed. Just a little tight to get on but that’s a good thing! They fit much tighter on the ZX and have the appropriate amount of wraps to cover the entire surface of the heater area. I’ve tried disorderly conduction coils but they are quite loose and don’t heat it as well.
September was the ETA 6 days ago.
Edit* It seems all orders in plus the remaining units on the countdown on the site are currently scheduled to be produced. The hold up at the moment I believe is the production facility has to change over their machines to produce this product instead of other products. That takes time and MOQs lol.
